Let me out, I cried out loud
My fist bleeding from numerous hits on the bars
But the blood I shed, though outta my veins, were in vain Where am I? Why am I in so much pains?
Bang bang bang, someone hit hard
Heyyyyy, I screamed, who are thou
Then he spoke, but with a sound like many thunders Saying; "I've led a life of wrong decisions, I've made many blunders"
I listened closely to this familiar sound
This emotion filled voice, constricting me like I'm bound
He says, "My heart has slept for years"
"My brain has been the sole dictator of my affairs"
"I've led a life of wins, my face always aglow"
"Money, fame, knowledge, I grabbed everywhere I go"
"But I'd always feared I'd die a lonely death"
"Happiness was a myth to me, despite my wisdom and all my wealth"
"But tick tock, my clock reminded me that time flies away"
"Said to myself, I have to act fast, I have to awaken my heart today"
"Traded you for love and true happiness, no hard feelings"
"I realised friends are worth more than diamonds all around the ground, heaped to the ceilings"
"But change wasn't easy, I felt like one who was burnt by snow"
"Though my heart leapt for joy, my adjustment was slow"
I screamed once more, LET ME OUT, I promise to let you be.
He looked at me and smiled as he left, saying "Good bye, Mr Brain, I'M FREE".
