The FUPRE Sport
community has often been in a digressing mode and in need of a touch that
spring positivity. Fair participation in sports, upgrade of the sporting facilities,
transparency, sport innovation, sport players welfare and many more are key
area to which we must work of in regards to FUPRE sports, and it’s a sure
reality if FERDINARD OGHOGBO OKEPEGBEHE is selected into the office of the
Director of Sports.
He has a vast
experience in sports both in participation and administration.
As the Assistant sport
of the department of Chemical Engineering where he functioned mostly as the
Sports Director due to ineffectiveness of his Sport Director, he managed to
guide the Chemical Engineering Team where he is the Assistant coach to 3 Finals
in the 2016/2017 Academic Session. Its worthy of note that this has not been accomplished
ever before in FUPRE.
The Team emerged as the
NSE CUP Winners and runner up in both the convocation cup and Vice Chancellor (VC)
cup.
He has vast skills in
variety of sporting activities, namely Scrabble, Chess, Basketball, Volleyball,
Table Tennis, Long Tennis, Football, Athletics and others.
I urge you all Fuprite
to vote for Ferdinand as the Sport Director , I am sure and well certain that
he is going to perform and not talk.
