Keeper:
Sebastian Osigwe: Swiss born goalkeep xxer Sebastian Osigwe presently plays for SC Kriens and could just be the solution to Nigeria long time goal keeping problem since the retirement of Vincent Enyeama.
He trained with the Flying Eagles, but has also represented Switzerland at the U-15’s, 16’s and U-18’s levels, but he’s now fight for a place Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Defense:
Tomori Fikayo: Presently Fikayo plies his trade for Chelsea and plays for England. He is one of the player's Frank Lampard gave an opportunity to join Chelsea with him from Derby and he has not disappointed since then. He fits well at the heart of the defense.
Angelo Ogbonna: Ogbonna played for Westham and Italy. He actually was one the best defenders to play for WestHam. The Hammers would never forget some of the spectacular goals he scored with his head.
Ogbonna was born to Nigerian parents who emigrated to Italy in 1983
Oguchialu Chijioke “Oguchi” Onyewu is an American central defender who is currently a free agent. Onyewu’s parents moved to the United States from Nigeria to study in Washington, D.C. They are from the Igbo ethnic people of Nigeria. He made his first appearance for the senior national team on October 13, 2004, against Panama.
Wing back:
Right-wing Back: David Olatokunbo Alaba was born in Vienna to a Filipino mother (a nurse) and a Nigerian father, a DJ and former rapper. He is considered one of the best players at Bayern Munich due to his versatility. He can play as a wing back on both wing's as well as a centre back.
Left-wing Back: Born in Warri but brought up in Manchester, England. Chinedum “Nedum” Onuoha plays for Real Salt Lake in the MLS. He is a defender, typically a centre back but he can also play at right back or left back.
He received a call up from Nigeria in March 2007 which he rejected hoping he would be called up by England.
Midfielder:
Dele Alli: It's no news that this midfield sensation is of Nigerian origin. He presently plays for Tottenham and England.
Ross Barkley: Shockingly, Ross Barkley is of Nigerian decent. Conceived on December 5, 1993, Barkley is an English footballer who plays for Everton and English national group as a midfielder. Barkley was brought up in Liverpool, his paternal granddad was Nigerian and that makes him qualified to play for both England and Nigeria.
Jordan Ibe: There was goosebumps all over our skin when Sunday Oliseh, then Nigeria coach flew to England to establish a relationship with then Liverpool sensation, Jordan Ibe. The deal fell through and since then Jordan Ibe has never been called up by Nigeria. Presently, he plays for Bournemouth in the English Premier League.
Striker:
England Adebayor: One of Africa's greatest player ever who shunned wearing the Green and White for a place with the Togolese national side. During his playing days, he played for Arsenal and Tottenham in England as well as Real Madrid in Spain.
Tammy Abraham: Few months ago, England sealed our fate of quickly finding a replacement for Odion Ighalo who retired after the nation's cup where he finished with the golden boot prize in bag. England for played Abraham in an international match and ended Nigeria hope of getting hold of Abraham.
Nigeria would line up in a 3-5-2 formation with Fikayo, Ogbonna and Oguchi providing first hand support for Osigwe in post.
In front of them would be Ross Barkley who would be flanked on the wings by David Alaba on the Right and Nedum on the left.
Providing support for the strikers would be Dele Alli and Jordan Ibe. Tammy Abraham would have the legendary Emmanuel Adebayor as his strike partner. What a force this would be!!!
Well, just Osigwe and Ibe are eligible to play for Nigeria.
Drop your suggestion on who should coach this team. Personally, I pick Antonio Conte.
