Spiritual Discipline

1 Corinthians 9:27[AMP]

[27]But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].

One of the key things God is looking for a on Earth in  a man is that the man is of a pure heart and not mixed.The Gospel and the things pertaining to it, it is a message which advances to a lifestyle that every believer must adopt and of which must and always be maintained, it's such a sofisticated lifestyle which is very sensitive to stains and dirt.

Maintaining a lifestyle full of purity must first be put to consideration in the heart before going into the journey thereof, it's a process and a painful one indeed because it's challenges the issue of Self deposition which is enmity against the spirit.

Galatians 5:17

[17]For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

A great warfare in the Land of the living indeed, and it's becomes a challenge to advance in the Knowledge of our God because of whom we chose to serve (The Flesh). Our heart towards the things of God and even few get to care to know the heart of the father because Man is distracted, busy struggling to survive and yet not finding relevance and self fulfillment but Mammon and Lust of the heart.

But Paul whose heart is to serve the  the Lord  describe in his Epistle how that the flesh would need to be disciplined by hardship and roughly handled so it may lack authority to speak that he may not be counted counterfeit.

Counterfeit Christianity is a Norm in the 21st century, where an average Christian doesn't know whom he serves, neither his life is an expression of who created him because such a person lacks discipline.The fruit of the spirit describes the traits of the Holyghost and for it to be found and established in a Christian not as a moral but a life , it has to be cultivated through obedience and submission to the  dealings of God in your life, Even a  tongues speaking Christian can lack discipline because he has not decided  to fortify his spirit against the wiles of the devil and hence brings the Cross and Christ to the mud and render his death useless because of his lifestyle, Christianity  has become substandard and the Supernatural had become obsolete in the street and church clerics subscribes to diabolic powers to maintain the position of power and authority.  No wonder Christians becomes victims of deception and oppression because hardly would you find a Christian in the street and church serving one God , Mammon has become the main god that controls the agenda and the mandate of the church   subconsciously opening the gates of Hell into the house of God and yet it's called *A new Development* .

The Lord seeks a man that would love him like David and earnestly desire him even though he is not perfect but strives for perfection in his heart and bringing the kingdom of God down to the Earth.

1 Corinthians 9:25

[25]And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

There is a crown that awaits them that strives unto perfection, serving one God and bringing down the beauty of the church as light to the Earth because an incorruptible reward is kept in heaven for them, they will be honoured but in earth and in heaven because they chose to represent God on Earth and pay grievous price to enter into the fullness of there calling and giftings. 

There is a war out there and you will fight through your life of purity and Godlikeness to present light to the people of darkness and turn them unto God and not you becoming a victim because of your lust and fleshly desires .
