WHAT IS NIGERIA'S ACTUAL COLOUR ?

but pause, listen to the whistling of the wind for this question is so true ...

what actually is Nigeria's colour ?

with what pigment of light is Nigeria dressed ?

please, don't say green and white, for they are a fallacy.

We no more get involved in Agriculture and Peace seems an archaic culture ...

We have lost ground fertility for our lands flow with the Red liquid.

The Orange Sun has failed to shine on us with its glorious ray.

This is not a poem for it's not a thought about a city that is Inchoate.

This may seem vague but I guess you understand,

how our economy is clobber by Leader's or better still 'Leading looters'

Nigeria's Colour is Black, Gold and Red,

For Black Gold Crude has replaced Green Agriculture,

And we put on Black clothing more often for we know not when we would mourn next,

In place of White Peace, we have bleeding Earth in Red
