Top 3 Nigerians from South-South and South-East who are Muslims

Not every igbo or south-southern Nigerian is a Christian or traditional worshipper, it's quite surprising that a handful of famous igbo leaders and public figures are actually Muslims. Here a 5 Igbo leaders who are actually of the Islamic Faith.
    1. Alhaji Abdulaziz Chibuzo Ude: He is described as a businessman, Industrialist, Billionaire and a Philanthropist is from Anambra state and was at one time the acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of NEWSWATCH in the 1980s and was the founder of Nok Publishers and first African editor at Double Day.

    2. Alhaji Asari Dokubo: It's obvious this list won't be complete without the mention of 'The Great Asari'. Popular in the nation as one of the key leaders of the Niger Delta militants, Asari's an alhaji; one of the highest point of Islam. Although he has had his share of controversy between him and the Muslim communities in the North, it doesn't change the fact that Asari is obviously a Muslim.

    3. HRH Dr. Abdulfatai Emetumah: How about an igwe in an Igbo land who is a Muslim? We have that in HRH Dr. Abdulfatai Emetumah who is the Traditional ruler of Umuofor Kingdom, Oguta LGA , Of Imo state. He is described as an Islamic scholar. The conversion took place after his father, Eze Alhaji Abdul Gaffaru (Ezeodo, Eze Ohazurukwe I of Akabor) converted to Islam during the war and thereafter brought it to his home town.
