I HATE SCHOOL

Nigerian school is a scam, it isn't worth the stress.

It's a fact and I just have to confess.

We get hundreds or thousands of graduates yearly but the working class are mostly uneducated.

Thinking about it daily, increases my hatred.

School is stressful, you learn with soft examples but tested with complex assignments.

But it's all a means to enslave us, make us work for pounds while we're paid cents.

School is unfair, we all have our different ways of learning.

But we are compelled to use one, even though in the world, a living, there are various ways of earning.

Even life after the whole stress, we mostly live by doing things not related to what we study.

Some go back to learn trades after wasting years in school, years spent in VAIN, so BLOODY.

School is 4cked up, people fail due to some uncontrollable circumstances.

Absent Allowance, though they Aspire, but with little means to Acquire or Afford the supposed Advances.

School is so unfair, people succeed doing dubious things but the world believes, "who pass 9 no book".

After all these, no jobs, why won't I resort to crime, why won't I leap before I look?

They said "education is the key", but it seems they've changed the padlock.

Cause to succeed in my country, apart from connection or God, nothing can propel you, not even your hard work.

They keep telling us, we have to learn in order to succeed.

But even after we've learnt, while the unlearned are harvesting, we go out there but can't afford a seed.

The whole idea of school is a waste of life, a total waste of time......nahhhh, it ain't cool!!!

The hunger, the headaches, the mosquito bites experienced when tryna read, tryna comprehend shi, makes my tears kiss my notes as I shake my head and say "I hate school"!!!
