Former Real Madrid president dies days after having symptoms of coronavirus

Former Real Madrid president, Lorenzo Sanz has died at the age of 76 few days after he was hospitalized with coronavirus symptoms. 

His son, Lorenzo Sans Duran, wrote on Twitter saying : 

'My father has just died. He did not deserve this end in this manner. One of the best, most courageous and hard-working people I have seen in my life. His family and Real Madrid were his passion.'

According to CBS Sport, Sanz had initially chosen to stay home while feeling sick having the intention of not overwhelming Spain medical service but late r went to the hospital on Tuesday when his fever had lasted for about 8  days. Unfortunately, the infection gave him kidney failure and he died on Saturday night.

Sanz was a director at Real Madrid  from 1985 to 1995
