A short Piece of exposition for Nigerian electorates.

While we seek for a total overhaul and automation of our electoral system to solidify electorates confidence, we must make do with what we have at the moment, the president might have refused the assent of the electoral that should justified the legal use of the Smart Card Readers, we must however become smarter than the serpent.

A survey with focus groups of 45 in the Urban and rural areas have shown that 80% of the rural indigents are ready to settle for the meagre ephemeral inducement in exchange for their electoral right, they've claimed that this period is the only period that brings relevance to the fore. The urban residents have shown large political participation in the web space, 89% have gotten their PVCs while 78% of this sect have done so to enable seamless transactions for their businesses and adding to the collection of their identity cards as Nigerians. It becomes pathetic to say that the wheel might be reinvented effortlessly since we've given the green card by our aloofness. We should all keep in mind that "Your indecision is a decision".

Do you know that the life expectancy of an average Nigerian is 52 years?
If we must use this age as a basis for some extrapolation, do you know that as an ordinary Nigerian you have just 8 times in your lifetime to right the wrong? 8 times to pass a bill? 8 times to say no and yes? 8 times to unseat and enthrone? 8 times to change the tide? What happens when this opportunity is misused or never used at all?
We now leave our young and ineligible generations to suffer over our political apathy and electoral misfire.

He had probably never taken a seat in the green or red chamber but his thumb had taken seats 8 times, he may not be called or consulted to promulgate policies and pass bills but a careful casting of the vote would protect the interest of his generation and speak in the chambers. Fellow Nigerians, this is the only time we get to speak and be heard, this is the only time these politicians can dine in our mats, the only time they can drink from our clay pots, the only time they can pick your calls and respond with smile, let's assess them now and know who's fit to push the educational reform bill, the health reform bill, reform of land use act, who's fit to execute these polices, who's more credible, competent and knowledgeable to paddle the ship of this nation to a land filled with milk and honey.

We have for long aided the growth of weeds in these nations, to be contextual, 'political weeds',  we've become the manure that flourished their germination and have giving them the powers to take charge of our vineyard and pride themselves as husbandry men, while we are reduced to mere slaves with no choice. This ordeal is our making, no doubt!

We must send them where they belong.
    Say no Gerontocracy!
    Say no to Kleptocracy!
    Say no to Oligarchy!
    Say no to feudalism!
    It's time!

    For the country,
