The believer must understand that the concept of Christianity is not just to know Him and the power of His ressurection but also be a partner in His suffering and go all the way with him to death itself
📌📌📌Phil.3.10 - I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself. [MSB]
The believer must also understand that in this world we will have tribulation 📌 John.16.33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Nevertheless the believer must get to the point like the 3hebrew men (in the book of Daniel), whether he saves us or not we will not deny Him ( it's not as easy done as said but we trust that he his able to keep us to the very end). The Christian journey entails a continual counting of the cost and daily dying to self until you become deep and lost in Him and losing something and someone You love doesn't stop you from loving Him.
The believer must understand that we are strangers and piligrims on earth 📌Heb.11.13 - These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
📌 Heb.13.14 - This "insider world" is not our home. We have our eyes peeled for the City about to come. -- Our eyes peeled for the city to come[MSB]
📌Heb.11.10 - For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
📌Heb.11.16 - But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Finally we must understand that we May have to walk through the shadow of death, Ps.23.4 - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
This is the victory we have in Him. We have overcame. We have rest.
