I was watching Liverpool loanee Ovia Ejaria video on YouTube and I could not but wonder when this skillful player would put on the Green White Green shirt. I then pictured a Super Eagles Midfield with three of the deadliest players the Super Eagles could wish for. These 3 players are obviously the best selection for the Super Eagles Midfield.
Oghenekaro Etebo, plays in England for Stoke City and is a versatile midfielder. Etebo can play as an attacking or defensive midfield. His ability to switch play with Wilfred Ndidi is something very important to a team like Nigeria. He finds his place in this team.
Wilfred Ndidi is obviously one of Super Eagles best player. He's rock solid in the defensive Midfield. This doesn't however take away the fact that Ndidi loves goals, especially from outside the box. It is important that Ndidi is not the only Nigerian in the team. Kelechi Ihenacho, a graduate of the famous Manchester City academy is a regular starter from the bench. This proves the worth of Ndidi who proved the best replacement for Ngolo Kante who won the league with Leicester before moving to win the league with Chelsea the following season.
Ovia Ejaria, Liverpool loanee is obviously one of the best player in the division two. His ability to move the get in the midst of the opponent, dribbling his way through and making some very instrumental vital passes is very key to a team like Nigeria.
The best Midfield formation for the Super Eagles is Etebo, Ndidi and Ejaria, otherwise known as ENE.
