UNENDING CRY?

Does he still weep for you and me!!!

Do our lifestyle reciprocate the price he paid?

From the clutches of sin and death, our souls, he reclaimed!!!

The weight of several tonnes, on his shoulders, he carried.

Despite our rebellion, all our burdens, he married.

Sun, rain, day and night, for our sakes, he tarried.

Wounded for our transgressions, all for our hearts to be gladdened.

A God in human form; but he was spat on and mocked.

Crown of thorns, on his head, bleeding as he walked.

All powerful and all knowing, but himself, he abased.

Performed signs and wonder, the world, he amazed.

Slapped, kicked, whipped, and beaten.

He took it all on himself, exactly as it was pre-written.

The only begotten son was looked away by his father.

.....For his eyes can't behold sin, "forsaken me?", He cried louder.
