Marcos Rashford with the ball
Marcos Rashford came up through the Manchester United youth settings and has ever since thrived to make a name for himself at the club. Rashford has netted 14 league goals in 22 appearances in the Premier League this season before being sidelined in January for a double stress fracture injury.
Harry Maguire in an interview lavished praises on the youngster and described Rashford as a "wonderful player" and feels the academy graduate will emerge as a future leader. He further revealed that Rasford does not relent on his charity work to the society.
Below is the interview:
"I think as a club, you should have a captain and rely on him, but you need to spread the onus of the leadership in the group," Maguire told the club's official podcast.
"He's always wanting to make himself available. I think you can see around the place, on and off the field as well, he's excellent with his charity work, which is great to see.
"When asked how he sees the youngster on the pitch he revealed that "On the pitch, like I said, he's amazed me. He's the most talented player I've ever played with."
Rashford has been prolific for Manchester United ever since rising up the rank and it's little surprise that he get the green call from his captain. Players do have their bad day but never rule out a game when there is Rashford in it.
