After a terrible season at Liverpool, Italian
football’s bad boy, Mario Balotelli has returned to AC Milan and told the press
that he was ready to hit the ground running.
Mario Balotelli managed to bang in three goals last
season for Liverpool and a series of terrible performances forced Liverpool to
start looking for buyers for the former Manchester City man. There were no
takers for months before AC Milan, the club Balotelli joined Liverpool from for
16 million Euros last year, mercifully offered to take their prodigal son off
the hands of Liverpool. Liverpool jumped at the offer and quickly shipped Mario
off to Milan for a medical and a subsequent deal. Mario Balotelli arrived Milan
looking as aloof as usual but managed to talk to reporters enough to make it
clear that he was happy to be back at AC Milan even though he didn’t consider
Milan to be home “I’m happy to be back. “I’m fit, I just need to train with my
team-mates. I don’t want to talk too much, I’m only focused on working hard
because I want to have a good season.” When asked if he was home, Balotelli
just said
“No, my home is in Brescia,” apparently, Balotelli
was already trying to start a media stir as usual as anyone who knows Mario
Balotelli knows that Milan is the player’s “footballing home”.
Balotelli, 25 is definitely looking to force his way
into Italy’s EURO 2016 team and he knows another season on Liverpool’s bench
wouldn’t get him into the team so he decided to go to the one club that could
handle his attitude and the last club to get good performances from him, AC
Milan. Balotelli obviously did not put Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano into the
equation when calculating his chances of first team football.
