Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says he has no intention
of prioritizing one trophy over another between now and the end of the season,
explaining that his sole target is winning the treble.
The Blaugrana are currently on an 11-match winning
streak in all competitions that has seen them draw to within a point of Liga
leaders Real Madrid, as well as secure a 3-1 advantage over Villarreal in their
Copa del Rey semi-final ahead of the return leg at El Madrigal on March 4.
Barca also travel to the Etihad Stadium next week
for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Manchester City
and Luis Enrique says that Blaugrana are driven by the dream of emulating the
club's 2009 treble-winning side.
Consequently, the Catalans are not looking beyond
Saturday's Liga meeting with Malaga at Camp Nou, with Luis Enrique insisting
that every game, and indeed every competition, is of the utmost importance to
him and his players.
"I want all the titles," the coach told
reporters on Friday. "I want to win every game. We are trying to do our
job, which is to win titles.
"I am exclusively focused on the Malaga
match. I know Manchester City, I remember them from last season [when they met
Barca in Europe] and I've seen them again this year [in the Premier League],
but I can wait a few days to talk about them.
"Although the players are used to playing
every three days, we are not in a situation where we can afford to forget about
the next three points in La Liga.
"We simply cannot make that mistake and we
are here to remind them how important the points are.
"What I can say for certain, though, is that
the run of good results has stimulated our players and made them very confident
ahead of the upcoming games.
"The most important months are approaching.
It's knock-out time in the Copa and the Champions League.
"But we're arriving at this point in good
form."
